Thank you for considering First Class DJ Entertainment.  My promise and commitment to you is to provide you with the very best entertainment at an affordable price.  While I specialize in weddings (90 per cent of my business in from weddings - roughly 40 per year) I have done virtually every kind of event and would love to work with you to make yours special, too!

A recent survey in Chicago Bride magazine revealed that the “average” cost for 6 hours with a DJ “averaging” 8 years of experience is $850.  My question:  would you pay that much and expect only average?  Think about it.  A wedding costs a LOTof money.  The dresses, tuxes, flowers, photographer, banquet hall, caterer, and yes, the entertainment, all add up quickly!  Of all those items, what do you think will create the longest-lasting impression?  That’s right – the entertainment!  You expect and deserve a DJ who has the experience and professionalism to bring your special day to a fun conclusion. I have nearly 25 years of experience, and still focus on every client's individual needs and preferences.  No two clients or events are ever exactly the same.  That is why when you book your wedding (or other event) with First Class, you can be assured of my commitment to providing you with professional DJ entertainment at the most affordable prices. Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life.  You plan and plan – for weeks, months, maybe even years – and you want the ceremony and the reception to be perfect.  I want that, too!  I will work very closely with you to ensure that your tastes and preferences are adhered to.  I will provide “play” as well as “do not play” lists so you can tell me what you want or don’t want.  If there are songs on your request sheet that I don’t have, I will either find them or may also play your CD’s if you prefer. The entertainment packages range from three to six hours of music.  That’s plenty of time for cocktails, dinner and lots of dancing!  I can also handle all your announcements and special events (cake cutting, garter/bouquet, special dances, etc) in a timely and professional manner.  I will also coordinate with your photographer and videographer to ensure that all those special moments are captured on film so you may savor the memories in the years to come. Let me add a First Class touch to your wedding day: Provide anywhere from three to seven hours of music (extra time available as well - just ask!) Provide customized play and do-not-play lists Provide wireless microphones for your toasts, blessings or other announcements Coordinate events with caterers, photographers and others. Provide professional audio and lighting – I use Crown, JBL, Gemini, Chauvet, Pioneer, and American DJ equipment that is especially made for mobile disc jockey entertainment.  All equipment is well-maintained and it sounds and looks great! Back up equipment on-site “just in case” Provide free consultations leading up to your event Be suitably attired for your event (typically jacket & tie) Include karaoke at no extra charge (advance notice required) Drink only water or soft drinks, no alcohol while “working”.No extra  charge for travel to Chicago Madison or Milwaukee (or within a 100-mile radius of Rockford, IL ) .  The only time travel charges MAY be incurred is if distance or other factors require an overnight stay OR is the price of gas goes back to $4 per gallon.  Any additional cost (requests) will be discussed up front. No surprises.

In addition to weddings, First Class will also provide quality entertainment for class reunions, school dances (Homecoming and Prom), birthdays, anniversaries, corporate events, holiday parties, block parties and MORE!  Karaoke is also available (call for rates) and I offer special rates for non-profits and fund-raising events.  If you are a bar or club owner looking for DJ or karaoke entertainment be sure to call - I'll be happy to work with you to build clientele and get your cash registers ringing!
